My in-depth understanding of your child and his or her particular situation also puts me in a strong position to be of help in other very important areas. In situations where we agree it will be valuable, I will:
- Personally recommend and expertly interpret selective psycho-educational testing where we feel it will yield valuable results.
- Offer specific and very concrete guidance designed to empower you to optimally parent and/or advocate for your child in all situations.
- Help coordinate the efforts of other involved professionals – meeting with pediatricians, nannies, coaches and others, as needed.
- Organize and lead school conferences with the goal of refining/enhancing the school's understanding of your child and his or her needs – and coordinate implementation and follow up on results.
- Offer recommendations as to what educational settings might best suit your child. I frequently visit most local schools and am in a position to help you make a good match.
- Help you choose the most beneficial summer experiences and extra-curricular activities.
- Share your concerns and offer advice regarding constructive friendships and social experience.
